Mom: "Okay then you need to be good & stop jumping on the couch."
You: "I don't wanna go outside no more."
"I'm tired, mom. I'm REALLY tired."
(Pointing to arms) "I got dinosaur bones!"
"I can flap my wings! I'm a parrot!"
Mom: "What do you want for lunch?"
You: "Ummm... strawberries."
Mom: "We're out of strawberries, baby. I'm sorry."
You: "Ummm... Blue strawberries!" (Blueberries)
"Plop plop! Fizz fizz! Oh what a relief it is!" - old Alka-Seltzer jingle that Grammie Arlene taught you.
"Oh no! Mom, Reese cup is crying!"
Mom: "Did you sleep well Caroline?"
You: "I think so!"
(Riding your play horse) "Yee-haw partner!"
(Mom coughs) "Bless you!"
(Hands Mom something)
Mom: "Thank you, Caroline!"
You: "No problem, toots!
You are seriously so funny & you're constantly trying to make people laugh. I absolutely love this age because we can have conversations with each other & you're soaking up every ounce of information possible. Yesterday at our library story time I asked you what color your name tag was.
"It's green! And a diamond. It's a kite!"
I had no idea you knew your shapes or the fact that a kite is also a diamond! So amazing. You seriously continue to surprise us every single day!
